Our purpose is to promote social welfare and restore citizens' ownership of our democracy by mobilizing grassroots participation in the community. San Francisco for Democracy works to ensure that elected officials are held accountable to the electorate.

The purpose this group is for all of us singles who are also progressive to find kindred spirits. “Progressives” spans the whole spectrum of the left and many topics – so whether you’re interested in the environment or sustainable energy, peace and social justice, international or local community issues, this can be a home for you.
