East Bay for Democracy
|
Meetup with East Bay for Democracy and Oakland DFA Meetup --- a grassroots community cultivated out of Howard Dean's 2004 presidential campaign. You have the power to make a difference! Together we utilize the lessons of the Dean movement to empower people by providing inspiration, information, training and opportunities for action. Working together, we exercise our power to revitalize our communities and governments by participating in political and social action networks and providing support for progressive candidates and causes. East Bay for Democracy is a chartered Democratic Club in Alameda County and is actively engaged in revitalizing the Democratic Party. The Oakland DFA Meetup serves a more informal event-oriented role - hosting great speakers, providing bite-sized political action opportunities and providing an entry point for people wanting to get more politically involved.
