Meetup.com was an important part of Howard Dean's presidential campaign. We are continuing the mission and the message of that campaign through our support of Democracy For America, the successor organization to the campaign. Meetups like this one are organized by and for volunteers - meaning that there are no official "chapters" or other local sub-groups, just lots and lots of like-minded people who want to see the Dean agenda carry on at the local, state and national level.
