National DFA is throwing Birthday Party, on March 25, 2009, with all DFA members over one million strong ~ to Celebrate Democracy For America's 5 year mark, of successful grassroots accomplishments! Howard Dean will be be making a Conference Call to all the DFA parties. hosted throughout the United States. Carol Changus will be planning one of these parties. III. Guest Speaker: Jenni Prisk is President of Prisk Communication, an award-winning public speaking and communication skills training and coaching company. Following 9/11, Jenni founded Voices of Women (VOW), an educational, advocacy organization which has raised thousands of dollars for women and children in war-torn and repressed countries

      “ Due to conflicts with Prop 8 Vigils and a Rally occurring at similiar times, many members, could not make both events on the eve of March 4, thus attendance was low for a very good reason. Jenni Prisk, from Voices of Women, (VOW)was an excellent speaker. I am sorry that more members did not hear her speak. Next time??? ”
