Obama will be at ODU today to campaign for our gubernatorial candidate, Creigh Deeds. Here's info on the event from the Pilot today:

President Barack Obama will appear at the Ted Constant Convocation Center at Old Dominion University in Norfolk today to stump for gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds, his campaign has confirmed.

Two weeks ago, the Deeds campaign confirmed that Obama would stump for him again somewhere in Virginia today.

The doors open at 2 p.m. for the event which begins at 4 p.m., according to Deeds' Web site. The event is open to the public and seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. For security reasons, bags and umbrellas are not allowed. Personal items also must be limited.

No signs or banners will be allowed, the site says.

It will be the second time Obama has campaigned on Deeds’ behalf. The campaign also released a new commercial last week featuring Obama who urges residents to get "fired up" and vote for Deeds.

Last week, former President Bill Clinton campaigned for Deeds in Northern Virginia.

Also, the Post is reporting that Deeds' poll numbers have sunk again, and this after the Post endorsed him. Of course, in a low-turnout election anything can happen, like Obama swinging a few votes for example:
