Day After Super Tuesday--Where do we Stand?

What does it mean to be "Progressive"

We will briefly recap what we discussed at our last meeting, prioritize our issues and identify our preferred policy positions. In particular, we are preparing for interviews and forums for the candidates for the congressional races in Central Florida, CD8 (Keller's seat) and CD 24 (Feeney's seat) in particular. The goal is to develop a list of questions to which we would like answers.

Update on Special Election in Florida House District 32 (formerly held by Bob Allen) - Tony Sasso, Democratic Candidate

Under the leadership of Nate Jenkins (the FDP field organizer for our region funded by Howard Dean's Democratic National Committee following the 50-state strategy), the campaign is seeking volunteers to canvass and phone. Help us expand our Vote by Mail program, getting more Democrats who might not vote consistently to sign up for absentee ballots. Increasing Democratic performance (turnout) is key to electing more Democrats who are certainly more progressive than Republicans.

Please join us. We need and value your input. It's time to re-engage and build to victory in 2008.
