Dear Everyone,

Well ... we've come to the time and are being tasked to pull together as much effort as we can posibly to bring this win home for Barack Obama. The time is upon us. Our dream ... everything we have been working for since we began this journey together more than 5 years ago ... is within our site at the end of 8 long, hard years. Let's not become complacent with "the polls" and get as big of a victory as we can get in these troubled times.

It's all hands on deck time ... and we each must grab that second wind so we will not wake up on 5.November and wonder what we could have done to have won this election. Senator John McCain wants Pennsylvania so bad, and he will be there as much as he can this next week. We are not going to let him win it with your help.

Here are some times you can help this weekend:

Here is a mail from Congressman Elijah Cummings I received this morning:

Dear friend -

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful work you've been doing on Senator Obama's campaign. I've never worked with more enthusiastic and dedicated supporters. Your efforts throughout the course of this campaign have put us where we are today -- on the verge of victory.

We are just six days away from changing this country. Twenty months ago I joined Senator Obama's improbable campaign. In my travels across this great nation I've met thousands of Americans, from Arkansas to Florida to Ohio, and the one thing I've realized is this: this is bigger than us. This campaign is not about Barack Obama or Joe Biden, or about you or me. This campaign is about taking our country back from the special interests and working to repair the damage done by the disastrous Bush Administration. You and I both know that Senator Obama is the candidate who can put our country back on track.

I need you to make one last push with me. The final five days of the campaign are known as the Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) period. Please come with me to canvass in Virginia and Pennsylvania. And make calls with me into other battleground states.

I know the polls are looking good for us right now. I know that the pundits are calling this race over. But to quote Senator Obama, "for those of you who are getting a little cocky, I've got two words for you: New Hampshire." We need to push for six more days, and make sure that we give it our all in the home stretch.

Thank you for all of your support throughout this campaign. We're almost there - we just can't let up.

Thank you,
Elijah
