In the 8 years since the U.S. initially invaded this poor war-ravaged country to topple the Taliban, capture Osama Bin Laden and destroy Al Qaeda, the mission has changed. Al Qaeda has largely relocated to Pakistan, the Taliban has resurged and U.S. soldiers and innocent Afghan citizens are still dying, now in greater numbers than ever. Read more
