The May Democracy for Utah meetup will be held at the Salt Lake Main Library at 7 pm (in Conference Room 2) May 7th (which just happens to be the day after North Carolina and Indiana hold their primaries).
We'll be talking about ways to get involved in the local 2008 elections, including a canvassing training/project. We need help brainstorming how to best reach people in Utah, so if you've got any ideas or just want to hear some of ours, please come to the meeting. (Yeah, we know it's one of the reddest states in the country, but we'd like to try to change that! In 2003 we helped organize statewide support for Howard Dean so we know a little something about promoting liberal candidates in Utah.)
