Portland Area MINIPROTESTERS

We are looking to expand the use of miniprotesting among all antiwar/antiBush groups.

FORMAT: Miniprotests of 4 people each are spread over 3 consecutive blocks in "protest strings". Just 12 people per group make three lasting impressions.

LOOK: Each miniprotest has a central 30" by 40" sign held low before the group while the other three protesters hold their signs up overhead. This "branding of the image" insures that all miniprotests have the same look and presentation. Thus each group gives validity and unity with all the others.

MESSAGES: Two formats for messages on main signs:
1) All three miniprotests use same main sign inscription such as "Democracy for America Urges: Support the TRUTH"
2) Running message for the three consecutive signs:
-Democracy for America Urges: Support the Truth
-Saddam and Osama were Bitter Enemies
-Bush's Noble Cause: Iraq Oil Production Sharing Agreement
